 Nearpod helps educators make any lesson interactive whether in the classroom or virtual. The concept is simple. A teacher can create interactive presentations that can contain Quiz’s, Polls, Videos, Collaborate Boards, and more. You can access thousands of pre-built K-12 standards-aligned lessons or upload your existing lessons and make them interactive.

The students can access a teacher’s presentation through a code and the teacher then moves the class through the presentation and lets students interact with the media as they go. Teachers can also opt for Student-Paced mode, where the student controls the flow of the lesson. Steps to create our own PPT on near pod and add to the google classroom

 Click on create and then on lesson.

 Then click on content and activities.

   Click slide and chose any template.

   Create PPT and save it. Then click on save and exit.

 Then click on students-paced and copied the link.

 After that, click on the google classroom and copy the link

1.  Simple presentation delivery

At it’s most simple, you can use Nearpod as a substitute for other presentation tools. Instead of running a Powerpoint or Google Slides, you can utilize Nearpod and make the lesson more interactive. GeoGebra as situating tool

 

GeoGebra is an interactive geometry, algebra, statistics and calculus application, intended for learning and teaching mathematics and science from primary school to university level. GeoGebra is available on multiple platforms, with apps for desktops, tablets and web.

Procedure:

1. First click on the GeoGebra icon from the desktop

2.  Click on the button near to the graphics to make the blank page. 

3. Click to grid and axes to hide the grid                     and axes.

4. Click the button on the right hand side of the page and select geometry

5. Draw two points A and B using the New Point tool

6. Draw the line segment AB using the Segment between two points tool 

7. Click to a perpendicular line tool to draw a perpendicular line

8. Click on the line drawn in step 6 to draw a perpendicular line. (After clicking drag a line to point

9. From point B draw a circle through point A using the Circle with Centre through a Point tool

10. Now add a new point C on the intersection point.

11. Repeat step 8 to draw a perpendicular line. (This time drag a line to point A)

12. From A draw a circle through B using the Circle with Centre through a Point tool

13. Now add a new point D on the intersection point

 14. Now click polygon tool and click on the point A and drag the line to point B then to point C and finally to point D to make a square.

15. Hide the circles by right clicking them and deselecting

1. Open GraphCalc

2. Click on graph 1

3. Choose 2D-graph

5. Type equation and apply

Use GraphCalc and generate a line of equation, when the equation is y=2x+1

Prediction: I thought there would be many diagonal line 

Observation: after plotting the graph with its equation, I came to observe that the line was indeed diagonal straight line which moved from top right to bottom left.

y=-2x+1

y=-4x+1

y=-6x+1

Prediction: I predicted that the graph line would move from top left to bottom right

Observation: all the lines move diagonally from top left to right

Case 3

y=2x=1

Prediction: I thought the graph line would move from top right to bottom left

Observation: The line move parallels in the x-axis

y=2x+1

 Prediction: I suppose the graph line would move from top right to bottom left

 Observation: The lines move diagonally from right to left. All the line move across the x-axis, but their the line move bigger and bigger when we increase the constant with same variable.

Prediction: initially i thought the graph line would move from top left to bottom right.

Observation: The lines move diagonally from right to left, and when the variable is increased from 2 to 4 the line is moved diagonally from right to left but the line is diminishing or decreasing.

Prediction: i feel that the graph line would move diagonally from top right to bottom right.

Observation: the lines ,oved diagonally from left to right, and when the variable increases, the value of constant also increases, the line is moved diagonally from right to left with same point but the line diminishes from earlier line.

Observation: The lines are moved diagonally from left to right and line of coordinates changes when the value of variable increases.

Observation: after plotting the equation, the line forms U-shape.

Prediction: i thought the graph line would move from top right to bottom left.
